Hacienda La Esmeralda has really put Panama on the coffee map. The "Geisha" variety has wonderful peach like flavour and aromas and has become one of the most expensive coffees in the world.

The largest producing country in the world, Brazil has become vital to the espresso world. The rich body and wheat like balanced flavours have made them a favourite ingredient in many espresso blends.

Costa Rica
In 1779 coffee plants were introduced to Costa Rica directly from Ethiopia. They continue to produce high quality citrusy, floral and sweet Arabica.

Kenya
Kenya is known for the cleanest brightest lemony citrus coffees. Some farms even giving a blackcurrant like aftertaste.

Rwanda
Rwanda has done much to rebuild its coffee industry in recent times and has been rewarded by wonderful red berry flavoured coffees.

Vietnam
A relative newcomer to the coffee world, Vietnam is now the second largest producing country in the world. It focuses its production on economical robustas for the mass market.

India
India grows both Arabica and Robusta. One of its most famous Arabicas is the Monsooned Malabar with a tobacco like flavour and rich body. India's robustas are much prized by the Italian espresso market for their rich body, but cleaner sweeter flavours.

Indonesia
The first nation outside of Ethiopia/Arabia to produce coffee on a large scale, Indonesia is now the fourth largest growing area. With the area being made up of several islands we find a vast array of flavours, but generally Indonesia is known for full bodied chocolaty flavours from its Arabicas.

Ethiopia
Considered by many to be the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia remains one of the most exciting coffee origins. Jasmine scented floral flavours from Yirgacheffe, strawberry and blueberry flavours from Sidamo, winey flavours from Harrar, and orange flavours from Jima; they have something for everyone.

Australia
A little further south than most countries producing coffee, but Australia has put its agricultural expertise into growing some well respected beans in the North East of the island.
